Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, services and hire agreements entered into with Angel Events & Decor Limited (“the Company”). By paying a deposit, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions

  • Company means Angel Events & Decor Limited.

  • Client means the individual or organisation booking services.

  • Event Date means the date specified on the invoice.

  • Venue means the event location.

  • Hire Items means all décor, props, equipment, linen and materials supplied.

  • Services means styling, installation, collection and related event services.

All booking details are confirmed within the issued invoice.

2. Quotations & Booking Confirmation

  • Quotations remain valid for 30 days unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • A booking is only secured upon receipt of the non-refundable deposit stated on the invoice.

  • The deposit amount is determined per event and clearly specified on the invoice.

  • No event date is reserved without payment of the deposit.

  • Prices are subject to change until the deposit is received.

  • No verbal agreements or representations shall be binding unless confirmed in writing by the Company.

3. Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking (amount stated on invoice).

  • The remaining balance is payable as stated on the invoice.

  • In most cases, the Company accepts cash payment on the day of the event unless otherwise agreed.

  • The Company is not VAT registered at present.

  • Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in services not being delivered.

  • The Company reserves the right to refuse setup if payment terms are not honoured.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • All deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • In the event of cancellation by the Client, no refunds will be issued.

  • Any refund issued is entirely at the Company’s sole discretion.

  • Cancellation must be made in writing.

5. Postponements

  • One postponement is permitted within 12 months of the original Event Date, subject to availability.

  • If the event is not rebooked within 12 months, all monies paid are retained and the event is considered cancelled.

  • If the Company is unavailable for the proposed new date, this will be treated as a cancellation.

6. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to:

  • Government restrictions

  • Acts of war

  • Terrorism

  • Civil unrest

  • Natural disasters

  • Extreme weather

  • Venue closure

  • Supplier failure

  • Transportation disruption

In such cases, postponement may be offered at the Company’s discretion. Refunds will not be automatically provided.

7. Venue Access & Logistics

  • Clients must arrange adequate setup access with the Venue.

  • The Company requires approximately 3–6 hours setup time depending on the size and complexity of the event. This timeframe includes unloading and loading of equipment.

  • If the event space is not on the ground floor and there is no lift access, additional charges will apply.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring suitable loading access and parking.

  • Any parking fees, congestion charges, ULEZ charges or venue access costs are payable by the Client.

  • Delays in access may result in reduced setup or additional charges.

  • The Company is responsible solely for the installation and styling of its own décor items. The Company does not set up venue tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery or other venue-supplied furniture unless agreed in writing. If such services are requested, an additional charge will apply.

  • Where the Venue provides a raised platform or staging area for décor installation, it must be fully assembled and ready prior to the Company’s arrival. Delays may impact setup times and may result in additional charges.

  • The Company operates with a standard 2–3 person team. Where additional staff are required due to event scale, complexity or time restrictions, additional staffing will be charged at £100 per person.

8. Hire Items – Responsibility, Damage & Loss

  • All Hire Items remain the property of Angel Events & Decor Limited at all times.

  • Responsibility passes to the Client upon delivery and remains until collection.

  • Clients are liable for any loss, theft, or damage.

  • Linen may incur staining during normal use; however, burns, tears, wax damage, or permanent damage will be charged.

  • No items may be dismantled, moved or altered by guests.

  • Replacement or repair costs will be invoiced where necessary.

  • All items supplied are for hire only. The Company does not sell décor, props, structures or styling items unless expressly agreed in writing.

9. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit may be required prior to the Event Date.

  • The security deposit amount will be confirmed on the invoice.

  • The security deposit must be paid before setup commences.

  • The deposit will be refunded within a reasonable period after the event, subject to all Hire Items being returned in satisfactory condition and no loss or damage occurring.

  • The Company reserves the right to deduct from the security deposit any costs relating to loss, theft, damage, excessive cleaning or late collection.

10. Safety & Use

  • No open flames are permitted near Company installations.

  • Clients must ensure children are supervised at all times around décor.

  • Electrical items must not be tampered with.

  • The Company accepts no liability for misuse of Hire Items once installed.

11. Design & Creative Control

  • Inspiration images are for guidance only.

  • Final styling may vary slightly due to supply availability.

  • The Company reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or greater value if required.

  • Seasonal florals and specific props are subject to availability.

  • Final design execution remains at the Company’s professional discretion.

  • All floral installations supplied by the Company are artificial florals. The Company does not supply fresh or real flowers unless expressly agreed in writing.

12. Photography & Marketing

  • The Company reserves the right to photograph and video installations.

  • Images may be used for marketing, social media and promotional purposes.

  • Clients must inform the Company in writing prior to the event if privacy is required.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

  • The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the total contract value paid by the Client.

  • The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or financial loss.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring the Venue is suitable and compliant for installations.

14. Insurance

  • The Company holds Public Liability Insurance.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring the Venue has appropriate insurance.

  • Clients are liable for damage caused by guests or third parties.

15. Event Overrun & Collection

  • If an event exceeds the agreed end time, the Company will wait 30 minutes.

  • After 30 minutes, additional waiting time charges will apply.

  • If collection is not possible due to venue restrictions, a revisit fee and additional travel costs will be charged.

  • Late-night or restricted collection times may incur additional fees.

16. Balloons & Client Property

  • Clients may keep balloon installations only with prior agreement.

  • All other décor, props, florals (unless agreed), structures and Hire Items remain Company property.

  • Removal or retention of items without permission will result in full replacement charges.

  • No Hire Items are sold as part of any package unless confirmed in writing by the Company.

17. Complaints

  • Any issues must be raised within 24 hours of the event in writing.

  • The Company must be given reasonable opportunity to remedy concerns.

  • Failure to notify within this period constitutes acceptance of services.

18. Conduct & Right to Terminate

  • The Company reserves the right to immediately terminate services if the Client or their guests behave in an abusive, threatening, unsafe or inappropriate manner toward staff or suppliers.

  • In such circumstances, no refund will be issued.

  • The Company will not be liable for incomplete setup or early removal due to safety concerns.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
